This report examines the systemic neglect of mental health systems in Kenya, highlighting the lack of adequate funding, infrastructure, and prioritization of mental health care. It sheds light on the stigma surrounding mental illness, limited access to services, and the insufficient number of trained professionals, which leave many affected individuals without support. The report calls for urgent reforms to address these challenges, including increased investment, policy implementation, and awareness campaigns to improve mental health care and uphold the rights of individuals living with mental health conditions in Kenya.
